UK Aid Direct fund update

Categories: General
29 March 2023

As all current UK Aid Direct projects will finish by the summer of 2023, this website and all its content – including guidance materials and learning resources – will no longer be updated or available after 31 August 2023. The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office is considering its future approach to central funding for civil society, including funding for small and medium-sized CSOs working in partnership with local actors. Ongoing engagement with their partners will be key to shaping this and will begin in due course. For any further information on UK Aid Direct, please visit gov.uk’s page on the UK Aid Direct fund.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all grant holders and civil society organisations working to achieve the Global Goals and support the most vulnerable and marginalised. We are proud that UK Aid Direct has been able to reach more than 9.7million vulnerable and marginalised beneficiaries across 39 countries, through 196 grants since the start of the fund in 2014.
