UK Aid Direct grant holders implement a range of measures to ensure they have project level safeguarding in place. This is critical to protecting beneficiaries, staff, volunteers, and anyone else who comes into contact with the project, from harm and abuse.

Download our recent guidance (PDF 1,213KB) to read some practical examples of ways grant holders are currently implementing safeguarding at a project level. The document is also available to download as a Word document (552KB).

Thank you to MEMPROW, Afghanaid, The Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance (WHPCA), Saferworld, Raising Futures Kenya, Carers Worldwide and Sense International for all their contributions.
