UK Aid Direct announce the award of 30 new grants

UK Aid Direct is pleased to confirm the charities and NGOs awarded Community Partnership and Impact grants in the second UK Aid Direct funding round.

An estimated 4.7 million beneficiaries will be reached through the approved grants.

From the 122 applications invited to submit a full application, almost 30% have been awarded a grant to work on projects targeting the most marginalised and vulnerable populations.

These organisations underwent rigorous assessments conducted by the UK Aid Direct technical team, external evaluators, DFID country offices and the DFID ministerial team, including Secretary of State.

Grants have been awarded to organisations working on projects ranging from ending modern day slavery, to water, sanitation and hygiene. Many of these organisations propose using innovative approaches and technologies.
