Project countries

The countries that are eligible for organisations to implement their UK Aid Direct-funded projects in are:

  • the lowest 50 countries in the UN Human Development Index (HDI)

and

  • certain countries the UK Department for International Development (DFID) considers to be of high or moderate fragility

Please note, some countries will appear in both lists (below).

Eligibility

Small Charities Challenge Fund (SCCF) grants are available to groups that are registered in the UK
